Mid-season variety, fruits ripen during the period from the second half of June to the beginning of July. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, however, when using dwarf rootstocks, the height is limited to 2.5–3.0 m. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness.

Fruits are medium-sized with firm yellow skin; a reddish blush appears on the sunny side. The flesh is firm ("crunchy"), taste is sweet-and-sour. The "Napoleonova" variety is often indicated as a pollinator variety.
