The tree is vigorous, forming a sparse, broad-oval, often drooping crown. The variety is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties. Yield is high, however, a late onset of fruit-bearing is observed in the first years after planting.

Fruits have a round-heart shape, slightly flattened, and reach a mass of 5–7 g. The skin color is dark red, almost black at full maturity. The flesh is brownish-red, firm, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste. The stone is large and separates well from the flesh. The variety is intended for dessert use.
