The variety was bred as a result of selection work with seedlings of the 'Leningradskaya chernaya' variety and initially bore the working name 'Priima'. The fruits have a broad-heart shape, their weight varies from 3.6 to 4.1 grams, sometimes reaching 5 grams.

The fruit color is dark red, almost black. The flesh is also dark red in color and is distinguished by juiciness and dark-colored juice. The taste is characterized as sweet and sour.

Fruits ripen in July; in warm climatic conditions, the timing may shift to an earlier period. The variety is intended for cultivation in orchards.
