Active

Prunus avium (L.) L. Sweet cherry · Fruit crops

also searched as: москателла гиалла

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 7 meters. The fruits are large, round in shape, and yellow in color. The flesh is yellow, juicy, firm, and distinguished by a characteristic muscat flavor. The harvest ripens at the end of June, and the fruits are suitable for storage for 15–20 days.

The variety has good disease resistance. The plant prefers a cool climate and well-drained, loose soils. Information regarding self-fertility is contradictory: in different sources, the variety is mentioned as self-sterile, requiring pollinators, or as self-fertile.
