The variety is characterized by mid-early flowering and productivity. The tree has medium to strong vigor, with scaffold branches positioned at a slight angle. The variety is relatively less susceptible to Valsa canker and is used in breeding as a parental line.

The fruits possess good taste qualities, however, under rainy climate conditions, the variety shows a tendency to crack. Many varieties are suitable as pollinators, with the exception of Burlat, Nalina, and Durone de Vignola II.
