10 August 2026
The variety is classified as mid-season, with fruits ripening in July. The tree has medium to strong vigor, forming a broadly rounded crown with scaffold branches directed obliquely upward. The flowering period occurs at mid-late times.
The variety is self-incompatible; for fruiting, it requires the presence of pollinator varieties such as Schneiders, Regina, Kordia, Summit, Knauffs Schwarze, Büttners Rote Knorpelkirsche, Van, Sam or Hedelfinger. The fruits have a mass of 8–10 g and a broad heart shape.
The skin of the fruits turns dark red or brownish-red upon ripening. The flesh is dark red, firm, juicy, with a spicy sweet taste. The fruits are suitable for transport, mechanical harvesting, fresh consumption, canning, and distillation.
