The Namosa tree exhibits moderately intensive growth, forming a wide, spreading crown with good branching. Fruits are flat-round in shape, dark red in color, with an average weight of 7–8 g. The flesh is dark red and of medium firmness; the variety belongs to the firm-fleshed (bigarreau) sweet cherry type.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties, as it belongs to the S3S4 genetic type. It is incompatible with the Ulster and Lamberts varieties, while it can serve as a pollinator for other varieties itself. The variety shows relative resistance to fruit cracking and low susceptibility to Cytospora canker.
