The variety is also known by the synonyms Bigarreau Prince Royal de Hanovre, Prince de Hanovre and Kronprinz von Hannover. The tree possesses moderately vigorous growth and high productivity.
The fruits are large, the shape varies from round to pointed. The variety belongs to old breeding forms mentioned in the literature of the second half of the 19th century and does not appear in modern agronomic registers as a current commercial product.
