The Progovka variety, also known by the synonym Früheste der Mark, is a traditional European sweet cherry variety. The exact origin of the variety is not established; it belongs to the historical gene pool.
The variety is distinguished by fruits with light-colored flesh and skin. Under Slovenian conditions, the trees bloom in the first ten days of April, and the harvest ripens in the first ten days of June.
