The tree has medium vigor and bears fruit mainly on spur branches and branches of medium length. The variety was obtained by crossing the Van and Muncheberger Frühe varieties.
The fruits are large, dark red in color; the flesh has the same shade. The dry matter content in the fruits is about 18%.
The variety is self-sterile. The recommended pollinators to ensure yield are the Maria, Stella, Van, and Boambe de Cotnari varieties.
