The variety is the result of a Canadian breeding program. The plant belongs to the self-fertile category, which eliminates the need for planting additional pollinator varieties.

The fruits are large, reaching an average weight of 11.4 g and a diameter of 31 mm. The skin color ranges from dark purple-red to dark red with characteristic spots. The variety is distinguished by high marketability and good shelf life during storage.
