Medium-maturing variety; fruits ripen in the first half of July. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a broad, spreading crown. Plant height varies from 300 to 600 cm depending on the type of rootstock used.
Fruits are medium-sized, heart-shaped, with yellow-red skin. The flesh is firm ("cartilaginous"), the taste is harmonious, moderately acidic with pronounced sweetness. The variety is winter-hardy and blooms in April.
The variety is self-incompatible; pollinators such as Hedelfinger or Schneiders späte Knorpel are required for fruit set. The self-incompatibility genetic profile is identified as S3S5.
