Prunus avium (L.) L. Sweet cherry · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree has medium to high vigor, forming a spreading or broad-rounded crown 3 to 5 meters in height. The fruits are medium to large in size (approximately 27–28 mm), round or heart-shaped, with red firm flesh and a sweet taste with slight acidity.

The variety is classified as mid-season, with a harvest period in June–July. Normalizing pruning is necessary to ensure high yield, as the tree is prone to fruit overload. Resistance to fruit cracking due to rain is medium, and winter hardiness is up to -28°C.

The plant is self-incompatible; for cross-pollination, other varieties are required, such as Stella, Burlat, Van or Bing. The fruits have versatile uses and are suitable for fresh consumption and various types of processing.
