The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 3–4 meters. The crown is compact, pyramidal or oval-rounded in shape, and of medium density. The variety is self-fertile, shows high resistance to major fungal diseases, and is tolerant to Plum pox virus. It possesses good winter hardiness down to -28°C and drought tolerance, although flower buds may be sensitive to late spring frosts.
Fruits are medium-sized or large, oval or oval-rounded in shape. The skin is dark burgundy or violet-blue with an intense blue waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow, firm, juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The stone is medium-sized and separates well from the flesh. The fruits have high transportability and are suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing.
