The variety was obtained by crossing «Stanley» and «Požegača». The tree has moderate vigor and a pyramidal or broad-pyramidal crown of medium density. The variety is self-fertile, characterized by good winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and requires heavy pruning to renew the fruit-bearing wood.
Fruit are oval or oblong in shape, dark blue or purple in color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, firm, juicy, with a distinct aroma and a freestone pit. Fruit ripening occurs in late August — early September.
The variety is sensitive to Polystigma rubrum and plum rust, and moderately susceptible to Plum pox virus. Branches are flexible, however, improper crown formation may lead to damage due to acute crotch angles.
