The variety was obtained by crossing the cultivars Wangenheim's Prune and Common Prune. Trees are characterized by medium or vigorous growth, form a spreading or pyramidal crown, and enter fruit-bearing 2–3 years after planting.
Fruits are egg-shaped and weigh between 35 and 80 g. The skin is violet-pink or dark blue with a thick waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-yellow, firm, juicy, and has good taste qualities. The stone is of medium size and easily separates from the flesh.
The variety is self-infertile; for pollination, the cultivars Stanley, President, Cacakska Lepotica, Cacakska Najbolja, and Pozegaca are recommended. Fruits are distinguished by high transportability and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of industrial processing.
