The tree is large, with a spreading crown. Fruits are greenish-yellow with red specks, reaching a weight of 66–150 g. The flesh is greenish-yellow, soft, fibrous, with a sweet and sour taste. The stone separates from the flesh with difficulty.
Fruits ripen at the end of August or the beginning of September. The variety is self-sterile; pollinators such as «Duke of Edinburgh» and «Noarootsi punane» are required for fruiting. The plant is sensitive to severe winters and is characterized by moderate yield.
