The tree is distinguished by high vigor, forming a semi-open, spreading, rounded crown up to 6–8 meters in height. The variety is a diploid hybrid obtained from open pollination of the Queen Ann variety.
The fruits have an almost spherical, slightly flattened shape and reach a mass of 90–150 g. The dark purple, almost black skin at maturity is covered with a bloom. The golden-yellow flesh is dense and crisp, possesses a balanced sweet-sour taste, and a small freestone pit.
The variety belongs to the late-ripening group. The plant is self-incompatible and requires pollinator varieties; it is sensitive to recurrent spring frosts. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage and transportation and are capable of ripening during storage.
