The tree is characterized by high growth vigor and a semi-open crown with good branching. The variety is self-compatible with a high degree of autogamy, which does not require cross-pollination by other varieties.
The variety belongs to the late-flowering group, which reduces the risk of flower damage by spring frosts. The fruit ripening period is early. Resistance to Monilia is higher than that of the Ferragnès variety.
The fruits have a hard shell. The kernel is of a rounded heart shape; the kernel output is about 35%. Double kernels are absent.
