The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties such as Texas, Aï, or Marcona to ensure yield. The tree is capable of reaching a height of 6 meters with a crown width of approximately 4 meters.

The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption when harvested in August or for long-term storage after harvest in September. The variety was used as a parent form in the breeding of the Ferrastar and Cristomorto varieties.
