The variety is of Italian origin and belongs to the almond crop. The tree forms fruit on spurs and requires pollinator varieties, as it is self-incompatible. The flowering period of the variety is classified as late.
Almond kernels have an elliptical shape and an average size of about 1.4 g. The kernel surface is wrinkled, and the coloration is intermediate. A characteristic feature of the variety is a high percentage of double kernel formation, ranging from 28 to 31 percent.
