Variety description

10 August 2026

The Independence tree has medium vigor; the crown has a spreading or obconical shape. The variety is self-fertile, demonstrates satisfactory resistance to diseases and winter hardiness, although there is a risk of fruit bud frost damage in severe winters.

Fruits weighing 110–230 g have a round or oval-elongated shape. The yellow-orange skin is almost completely covered by a bright red, sometimes purple blush. The yellow juicy flesh contains red veins; the stone separates easily. Harvesting usually occurs in mid-August.
