The variety Burrona di Rosano is a traditional Italian variety, which in modern studies is considered primarily as an object of genetic and collection work. It is characterized by an extremely low observed heterozygosity index.
Historically, this variety was used both for fresh consumption and for processing. At present, detailed agrotechnical characteristics, such as ripening periods, plant height parameters, or disease resistance, are not described in publications.
