The variety was obtained by self-pollination of the American variety Catherine. The tree has an upright habit, is characterized by medium to high vigor, and fruits on mixed branches. The variety shows resistance to peach leaf curl.
Fruits are large, weighing from 80–110 g to 210 g, with a spherical or slightly flattened shape. The ground color of the skin is yellow-green with an orange-red overcolor. The flesh is orange, firm, aromatic, and sweet, while the stone does not separate well from the flesh. Yield is consistently high, reaching 28.1 t/ha, with fruit ripening occurring in late July — early August.
