Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a genetic dwarf, reaching a height of 1.2 to 2 meters, and has a compact crown with a columnar or upright shape. A distinctive feature is the purple-colored foliage, which retains its decorative appearance throughout the season, and spring flowering with bright pink fragrant flowers.

Fruits are of medium size, weighing 100–150 g, and ripen in late summer or early September. The skin varies from yellow-white with a crimson blush to dark red; the flesh is juicy and sweet. The variety is precocious, begins fruiting in 1–2 years, and is characterized by moderate yield and self-fertility.

The tree is noted for winter hardiness, but is prone to Taphrina deformans infection. Due to its dimensions, the variety is used both as a fruit crop for fresh consumption and canning, and as an ornamental plant for landscape design, patios, and terraces.
