The Diamentina tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-open canopy type. Flowering occurs very early; the variety is self-pollinating. The plant exhibits resistance to fruit cracking and Plum pox virus (Sharka). It is adapted to climatic conditions with a low chill hour requirement of approximately 100 hours.
The fruits have a round shape, an average weight of about 170 grams, and a B/A caliber. The skin surface is colored bright red. The flesh is white, juicy, and has high firmness, which ensures good transportability. The variety is intended for fresh market sales.
