The Diamante variety, mentioned in scientific studies of fruit crops for warm regions, is characterized by yellow non-melting flesh, which does not soften upon ripening. The fruit skin does not have an intense red blush. The variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for industrial processing.
In commercial practice, the name Diamante is often used as a trade name for other varieties. For example, the Harrow Diamond variety is distinguished by early ripening and high winter hardiness, and Diamond Princess is a mid-season large-fruited variety with round-flattened fruits that have yellow flesh and a pronounced red blush.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
