The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Gialla di Firenze and Fertili Morettini. It belongs to the ultra-early category, with fruit ripening occurring in the first ten days of July. The tree is fast-growing, medium- or vigorous-growing, reaches a height of 3–4 meters, has a spreading rounded crown, and begins fruiting in the second year after planting.
The fruits have a weight of 70–90 g, with individual specimens reaching 120–150 g. The fruit shape is rounded or round-oval with a pointed tip. The skin is yellow with a carmine blush on 50–60% of the surface, covered with delicate pubescence. The yellow or cream-yellow flesh has a juicy, tender-fibrous consistency; the pit does not separate from the flesh.
