The variety is the result of breeding, selected in 2006 from a seedling population. Trees possess high productivity and vigorous growth, forming a semi-spreading canopy. The chilling requirement for breaking dormancy is approximately 550 hours.
Fruits have a round symmetrical shape and attractive bright red surface coloration; size varies from medium to large. The flesh is firm, of the non-melting type, and the pit does not separate from the flesh. Fruit flavor is traditional sweet-and-sour; ripening in temperate climate conditions occurs during the period from late April to mid-May.
