The Flamina variety is a subject of scientific research dedicated to the physiology and breeding of stone fruit crops. In particular, the variety was used to analyze the effectiveness of 1-aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acid (ACC) application as a chemical fruit thinning agent.
In experimental work, the variety demonstrated individual biological indices and a specific response to the effect of growth regulators, different from other studied peach varieties under similar conditions.
