The tree is characterized as vigorous and productive. The variety matures approximately 5 days after the Redhaven variety, usually in mid-August. Fruits are medium to large in size, covered with yellow skin with a red blush on 60–80% of the surface. The flesh is yellow, of medium density. The stone is described as semi-freestone or freestone.
The variety has medium resistance to bacterial spot and shows some resistance to peach leaf curl. At the same time, the tree has a tendency for wood freezing in severe winters and is also sensitive to mite infestation. In some years, pit splitting is possible.
