The variety was obtained by crossing Sweet Cap and BO 96028059. The tree has a regular growth habit, medium to high vigor, and medium chilling requirement. In Northern Italy, ripening occurs in late August – early September, approximately 50 days after the Big Top nectarine.
The flat-shaped fruits have a blush on 70% of the surface. The yellow flesh does not soften upon ripening, and the soluble solids content exceeds 17 °Brix. The firmness of the flesh ensures flexibility in harvest timing and good transportability.
The variety requires careful management to prevent infection by Monilinia.
