Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing Harbrite and Favorita Morettini. The tree has a vigorous or moderately vigorous semi-vertical habit. Fruit ripening occurs from late July to mid-August.
The fruits are egg-shaped, medium or large in size. The yellow fibrous flesh of medium-dense consistency easily separates from the pit and has a pronounced sweet taste. The skin is yellow with a dark red blush covering more than half of the surface.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to peach leaf curl and winter hardiness of the wood and flower buds. The crop is demanding of soil conditions and requires fruit thinning to maintain high yield.
