The Maira tree has a broad spreading crown and reaches 3–4 meters in height. The variety is precocious, beginning to bear fruit in the 3–4th year after planting, and is self-fertile. It is characterized by high productivity, which requires fruit thinning, and good winter hardiness, including frost resistance of flower buds.
Fruits are spherical in shape, weighing from 80 to 150 g, covered with pubescent light-yellow skin with a red blush. The flesh is white-cream, juicy, sweet with a slight acidity, and the pit separates well. The variety is moderately susceptible to leaf curl and is intended for fresh consumption.
