The variety originated as a chance seedling. The plant has medium to strong growth vigor, the crown has an upright or spreading habit. The variety is characterized by regular and abundant fruiting and is intended for fresh consumption or processing.
The fruits are round in shape, sometimes slightly asymmetrical, covered with slightly pubescent skin of a creamy yellow color with an intense dark red blush. The flesh is yellow, firm or medium-firm, non-fibrous, with a good taste, medium sweetness, and low acidity. The stone is elliptical in shape and separates well from the flesh.
The variety is suitable for cultivation in warm and moderately warm areas. In regions with a cooler climate, planting in protected areas is recommended.
