Trees of the variety are characterized by medium vigor, moderate yield, and a requirement for chilling hours. The variety is self-fertile and ripens 30–40 days before the «Redhaven» variety.

Fruits have a round or slightly elongated-round shape. The skin is yellow with a bright red blush covering from 70% to 90% of the surface; pubescence is slight. The flesh is yellow, the stone is semi-freestone or clingstone. The variety may be susceptible to the pathogen Phytophthora citrophthora.
