Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in the third ten-day period of September to early October. The fruits are large, weighing 180–250 g (up to 350 g), with a rounded shape. The skin is yellow with an intense dark red or crimson blush. The flesh is yellow, juicy, buttery, and fibrous, with a sweet-tart taste and a floral aroma. The stone is often non-freestone.
The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness (down to -28°C) and drought tolerance. It shows resistance to moniliosis and coccomycosis; the fruits are suitable for transportation.
