Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The tree reaches a height of 3–4.5 meters. Fruits are medium to large in size, round or slightly flattened in shape, and have dark yellow skin with a red blush. The flesh is yellow-orange, firm, juicy, and aromatic, with a good balance of sugar and acid; the pit separates easily.
The variety is intended for regions with long cold winters. Due to late blooming, it is suitable for areas with recurring spring frosts. In warm climates with insufficient winter chilling, delayed bud development, weak growth, and reduced yield are observed. Requires good soil drainage.
