Rakoniewicka is a local form selected from seedlings in the 1940s. The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 3.5–5 meters, with a spreading, dense crown. The variety is self-fertile and valued for the high winter hardiness of its wood and flower buds, as well as moderate resistance to leaf curl.

Fruits are mid-late to late ripening, weighing 100–140 g, with a spherical shape. The skin is pubescent, pale red or with an orange-red blush. The flesh is creamy white or greenish, juicy, sweet, with a red tint near the stone, which separates well. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.

Since Rakoniewicka is a seedling, plants grown from seeds may show trait variability. The main professional use is as a rootstock for grafting other peach and nectarine varieties due to its high vigor.
