The tree is medium-sized, forming a rounded or oblate crown of medium density. The variety was obtained in 1940 as a result of crossing the Halehaven and Kalhaven varieties.
The fruits are large, with an average weight of 110–170 g, having a yellow base color with an intense red blush. Crop ripening usually occurs in August.
