The variety is a hybrid of the Babcock and Mayflower varieties. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor and productivity, due to which the trees often required fruit thinning to achieve a high-quality harvest.
The fruits are of early maturity and possess white, sweet, juicy, and aromatic flesh. The variety was adapted for regions with mild winters, particularly for the conditions of Southern California, where it demonstrated stable fruiting.
