The variety belongs to the peach crop and is classified as a nectarine according to its biological characteristics. It was bred in Romania and is included in breeding programs as a promising variety for fresh consumption.
Like other peach representatives, the variety is sensitive to fungal diseases, in particular to leaf curl (Taphrina), as well as to pathogens of Coryneum and Sphacelotheca. This susceptibility manifests itself more strongly when grown on cold, damp soils and in conditions of a cool, wet spring.
