The tree is medium-sized, demanding of heat, and develops best in regions with a mild climate. Flowering occurs mid-season; flowers are pale pink. The variety is sensitive to late spring frosts.
The fruit, weighing 120–150 g, has an elongated shape and grey-red pubescent skin. The flesh is firm, deep dark red up to the pit. The taste is aromatic, balanced in acidity, with a characteristic flavor.
The variety belongs to the late-maturing category; harvesting takes place in the second half of August – September. It is widely used for making jams, preserves, compotes, and alcoholic beverages, as the intensely colored flesh retains its color during thermal processing.
