The variety «Silver Splendid» (also known as «Argento Splendente») is a white-fleshed nectarine. Genetically, the variety is related to «Caldesi 85» and shares common ancestors with a number of other Italian varieties, such as «Stark Redgold».
The fruits of the variety are characterized as large. The nectarine is adapted to subtropical climate conditions, which was confirmed during variety trials in the Mediterranean region. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
