The variety originated as a mutation in France in 1975 and is a derivative of the yellow-fleshed variety «Armking». Trees are characterized as vigorous and high-yielding, prone to abundant fruit set, which requires mandatory intensive pruning and crop thinning.
Medium-sized fruits have greenish-white skin with a dark-red blush covering about 75% of the surface, and firm, sweet flesh of the same color. The variety belongs to the early-maturing group, requires careful transportation, and has a limited shelf life.
The plant is susceptible to powdery mildew, which can affect leaves and fruits in unfavorable seasons.
