The variety «Spring Pearl» (also known as «Springice») is a nectarine bred from open pollination of an unnamed selection. It is characterized by early-mid maturity.
Fruits are large, spherical in shape, and uniform in size. Skin color is very dark red with a moderate hue over a faint yellow background. The flesh is white, firm, and very crispy, with a subacid taste. The stone type is clingstone, where the flesh adheres firmly to it.
