The variety is a mutant of the Springcrest variety and belongs to the early maturity group, ripening approximately 20 days before the Redhaven variety. The tree is distinguished by moderate growth vigor and fairly high productivity.
The fruits have a spherical shape and medium size. The skin is yellowish, covered with a red blush on 90–95% of the surface. The flesh is yellow in color, juicy, with a sweet taste. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and commercial cultivation.
Studies show that the fruits of this variety are resistant to the development of mealiness during cold storage. The variety does not show a tendency toward specific flesh texture defects.
