The variety has yellow fruits in which the pit separates easily from the flesh. The ripening period occurs approximately three weeks before the Elberta variety. The tree has inconspicuous flowers and is characterized by a short dormancy period.
In agronomic publications, the variety is known as a parent form for creating other hybrids. It is often confused with the Summer Glo variety, which is a separate fruit plant with different characteristics.
