Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is medium-sized or vigorous with a powerful, broadly pyramidal crown. Fruits have a broad-oval or barrel shape and weigh from 60–90 g to 120–150 g. The firm skin is dark purple or almost black in color, covered with a thick waxy bloom. The amber flesh is fibrous, juicy, and dense, with a sweet-and-sour taste; the stone is difficult to separate.

The variety is late-maturing: harvest occurs from late September to early October. Fruits possess exceptional keeping quality, remaining stored in a refrigerator for up to 3–5 months. Trees enter into production 2–4 years after planting, demonstrating high yields.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators, such as «Black Amber», «Friar», «Santa Rosa», or cherry plum. Disease resistance is assessed as medium; low resistance to moniliosis is noted. Winter hardiness is up to -30°C.
