The tree of this variety is characterized by vigorous growth and abundant flowering. The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination with other plum varieties or interspecific hybrids with suitable flowering periods to set a crop.
Fruits ripen late; in California conditions, the harvest period falls in September – October. The fruit skin is red, and the fruits are resistant to internal damage during storage, which makes the variety suitable for the fresh market and long-distance transport.
The variety possesses winter hardiness and does not show specific increased susceptibility to diseases and pests.
